Duties
Responsible and accountable for management direction of nursing and ancillary member related services for a unit, program, or shift. Depending on the organizational location of the position, specific duties may include a combination of the following: plan; organize; direct; and participate in the provision of professional nursing services according to state, federal and Veterans Affairs regulations; facilitate between members and staff to identify, define, and resolve problems; coordinate and/or provide member care including completion of assessments, care planning, and implementation and evaluation of treatment recommended by other disciplines; assess and document the health status of each member; monitoring to insure that the care plan is being followed and quality care is being provided by the health care team; and assign workload to employees, recommend hiring selections, and provide orientation for nursing staff.

Special Requirements
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
