The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs encourages comments from stakeholders and the public when proposing guidance documents and rulemaking projects.
Opportunities for public input on include: open comment periods for guidance documents, statements of scope, economic impact, and public hearings on proposed rules.
Economic Impact Comments
The Department of Veterans Affairs solicits public comments when preparing an economic impact analysis (EIA) for proposed administrative rules. The Department is interested in obtaining information and advice from businesses, associations, local governmental units, and individuals that may be affected by the proposed administrative rules. The comments are considered when the Department prepares an EIA under Wis. Stat. § 227.137.
The Department of Veteran Affairs is soliciting public comments relating to economic impact for the following rule:
