Step 1: Assessment
Shortly after the application deadline date, application materials are evaluated and examination submissions are scored.
Step 2 :Notification
Applicants will receive a notice of examination results to indicate eligibility for further consideration.
Step 3: Interview
Typically, the most qualified (top scoring) exam registrants are certified and invited for an interview.
Step 4: Offer and Onboarding
Reference and background checks are performed prior to offering the position.
The selected candidate is provided an official appointment letter and instructions on what to bring for their first day, orientation and in processing.
Most employees serve an initial probationary period (term indicated in the job announcement) in which the employee receives additional orientation and performance evaluation.
