Serving Those Who Served Since 1945

The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) has been dedicated to supporting veterans and their families for nearly eight decades. Established in 1945 to unify Wisconsin’s veteran services under one agency, WDVA continues to honor and assist those who served by offering comprehensive programs and benefits.

Our mission is to serve Wisconsin veterans and their families—ensuring they receive the recognition, care, and opportunities they have earned.
