The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs annually hosts a Women Veterans Retreat that strives for healing through connection and building a community of sisterhood.
Due to agency changes, the 2026 Women Veterans Retreat is being postponed until later this year. The 2027 Retreat will return to Trinity!

2025 Women Veterans Retreat
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated veterans, battle buddies, and the incredible team at Trinity Equestrian Center, including all the volunteers and staff. We sincerely thank Dr. Mary Landwehr from the Sunrise Family Care Clinic, Shannon Hough and the Shields of Sisters team, and Megan Haag from Sunnyside Dreams Farm. We are so grateful for the hardworking WDVA team members, including those from the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, the WDVA Veterans Outreach and Recovery (VORP) Staff, the in-house photographer, and the Wisconsin Tribal Women Veterans. Your collective efforts have made the WDVA 2025 Annual Women Veterans Retreat a truly memorable experience.
