Learn more about Federal GI Bill®
GI Bill® benefits help you pay for school and cover expenses while you’re training for a job. Since 1944, the GI Bill® has helped qualifying Veterans and their family members get money to cover all or some of the costs for school or training.

State Approving Agency
The Wisconsin State Approving Agency (SAA) reviews and approves Wisconsin-based program eligibility for the federal GI Bill®, including universities, non-college degrees, vocational training, flight schools, licensing, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training.
SAA also works with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to make sure approved programs meet quality standards, students receive the correct benefits, and the GI Bill® is protected from fraud and abuse.
