Veteran Farmer Assistance and Outreach Program

The Wisconsin Farm Center provides:

  • Access to agricultural resources and support.
  • Guidance on developing a business plan to launch a farm.
  • A special Veteran Farmer Logo to help identify and promote veteran-owned agricultural products.

The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP) recognize the significant contributions of Veteran-Owned Farms to Wisconsin’s economy. To help veteran farmers promote their businesses, WDVA and DATCP offer a certified Veteran-Owned Farm logo for eligible farms.
