Memorial Day
This year the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery will once again be hosting an in-person ceremony and we hope to see you there.
On May 29, 1848, Wisconsin gained statehood and became the 30th state in the Union. This year the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs is honoring 175 years of service. Wisconsinites have willingly answered the call, and many have given the ultimate sacrifice. Join us this Memorial Day weekend as we pay tribute to the men and women who valiantly fought and died for our nation.
