WDVA accepts monetary donations to support a variety of veteran services and programs across Wisconsin. Your contribution helps provide essential assistance to veterans in need.

Wisconsin Veterans Homes
The Wisconsin Veterans Homes in Chippewa Falls, King, and Union Grove provide 24-hour skilled nursing care for veterans and their spouses. The homes gladly accept monetary donations, as well as specific items to support residents. Click below to view current wish lists:

Veterans Housing Recovery Program
The Veterans Housing and Recovery Program (VHRP), located in Union Grove, provides temporary housing, training, and supportive services to military veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in order to help them obtain permanent housing. The goal of VHRP is to help veterans achieve stability, increase their skill levels and/or income, and obtain greater self-determination that will enable them to reintegrate back into the community.

Veteran Outreach and Recovery Program
The Veteran Outreach and Recovery Program (VORP) assists all who have served in any component of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those that have previously served and continue to serve in the National Guard and Reserve. Staff provide assistance and connection to mental health services, substance use treatment, temporary financial assistance, housing and utility resources, employment, and education. VORP is a statewide program serving all 72 counties and 11 federally recognized tribal nations. Monetary donations will be used to provide services and resources that directly benefit veterans enrolled in VORP.

Wisconsin Veterans Museum
The Wisconsin Veterans Museum preserves and shares the stories of those who served, and there are so many ways to give back. Learn more about making a monetary donation or a donation of an item to the collection where your legacy of service will be preserved with the dignity and care it deserves.

Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemeteries
Honor our fallen heroes by contributing to one of Wisconsin’s three state veterans cemeteries. Donations help maintain and enhance the beauty of these sacred spaces. Contact the cemeteries directly for details and brochures. Monetary gifts may be designated for:
